THE MOST INDENTED COAST OF THE CROATIAN ADRIATICThe most indented part of the Croatian Adriatic Coast belongs to the Šibenik-Knin region. Exactly the indentedness is one of the main advantages of the Šibenik region, the reason why the guests come back every year all over again. The sunny coast of the Šibenik area is known for mostly rocky and pebble beaches, but it is possible to find some interesting beach for the lovers of the sandy beaches as well.
BEACHES ON THE ISLAND OF MURTER
The beach Slanica on the island of Murter in the settlement of the same name, especially interesting to the lovers of the game "picigini" (a ball game) because of its shallow parts. It is partly sandy and partly rocky beach and one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia. It is suitable for children, and there are also situated several catering objects, sanitary block and showers. Additional contents include slide, sand volleyball, tennis, trampoline, etc.
The beach Čigrađa, located also in the settlement of Murter, is sandy and rocky as well. It is suitable for children. There are catering objects – the restaurant "Čigrađa" and the beach bar "Lantana".
The beach Luke is the local beach in the settlement of Murter and it is partly pebble and partly sandy. The sunning blocks are made of concrete. It is suitable for children and older people. It has showers, and there are supermarket and a coffee-bar nearby.
he beach Zdrače is a local beach in the settlement of Betina, also partly sandy and partly pebble. The sunning blocks are made of concrete equipped with showers and a coffee-bar. The beach Plitka Vala is located near Betina and it is partly pebble, partly sandy and partly rocky. It is suitable for children. There is an auto-camp nearby, a restaurant and a coffee-bar. The beach Kosirina is also located near Betina and it is partly sandy, partly pebble and partly rocky. In the bay there is also an auto-camp, as well as several catering objects. It is suitable for children and for diving lovers.
The beach „Lovišća" is a pebble beach situated in the auto-camp of the same name near Jezera. There are a restaurant and a coffee-bar, as well as numerous additional contents such as pedal boats, tennis, mini golf, etc. The beach Jazina is a pebble beach located in the settlement of Tisno, on the island of Murter. The sunning blocks are made of concrete. There is also an auto-camp nearby. It is equipped with showers, and there are numerous additional contents as pedal boats, tennis, etc.
THE BEACH LOLIĆ – „BLUE FLAG“ WINNEROn the mainland, near the island of Murter, there is the tourist settlement Pirovac known for its main beach Lolić, the multi-annual winner of the Blue flag – the internationally recognized prize for the clear sea. The beach Lolić is a pebble beach reachable through the walking zone with the traffic prohibition during the summer months. The beach is suitable for the disabled persons and it is equipped with lifeguards, showers, changing rooms, as well as with additional contents such as catering objects, sport features and similar. The beach has two info-desks, where it is possible to get any information. Besides the beach Lolić, the famous beaches in Pirovac are the beach Starine and the beach of the hotel "Miran".
THE BEACHES IN TRIBUNJIn the settlement of Tribunj there are two beaches – Zamalin and Sinje more. The beach Zamalin is the most famous one in Tribunj, a favourite gathering place of the inhabitants of Tribunj in the summer months, as well as during the winter. It is a pebble beach with the sunning blocks made of concrete. It is surrounded by the pine wood, and nearby there are numerous catering objects, supermarket, patisseries, parking places, etc. The beach Sinje more is suitable for children. It has different contents for children, and the approach to the sea is sandy. There are restaurants and coffee-bars nearby. The sandy beach Sovlje is located in the settlement of Sovlje near Tribunj, and it is protected from the wind and suitable for children.

In the neighbour settlement Srima there are situated also beautiful beaches surrounded by pine wood, some of which are located in the settlement itself. The beaches are mostly pebble and made of concrete, but there is also a little sandy part for the fans of the sandy beaches. In front of the settlement there is placed the island Prvić, known for its sandy beach in the settlement Prvić Šepurine, especially suitable for children.

THE WHITE BEACH – BLUE FLAG WINNER
About 6 kilometres from the Šibenik city centre, in the holiday resort "Solaris" is situated the White beach – the winner of the Blue flag – the internationally recognized prize for the clear sea. The beach is about 700 metres long and suitable for children, non-swimmers and disabled persons. It is covered by sand and fine pebbles. It is equipped with numerous additional contents, showers, sanitary blocks, changing rooms and lifeguards.
In the settlement of Brodarica, the suburb of Šibenik, is situated a pebble beach Rezalište, and on the islet of Krapanj nearby there are also pebble beaches suitable for children and sport activity lovers. A couple of kilometres from Brodarica towards south, in the settlement of Žaborić you can find beautiful pebble and sandy beaches, especially favourite among the young inhabitants of Šibenik. Grebaštica offers to its guests pebble beaches, suitable for children, among which the most known are Galešnica, Banovci, Jakovljevići, while the beach in the settlement Šparadići near Grebaštica is also suitable for the family vacations.
